Madison Hills Christmas Party
Join the P.E.A.C.E. Team as we bring Christmas cheer to the kids at Madison Hills Apt! We are sponsoring a Christmas Party for the elementary age kids on Saturday Dec. 13 from 2:00 - 4:00pm. We'll have snacks, games and gifts and share the true meaning of the season - Jesus!
Christmas Dinner at Johnny Walker Homes
As we continue to share the Christmas spirit in our community, the Senior Outreach team will sponsor a Christmas dinner for the residents of Johnny Walker Homes, a senior apartment community in Marietta.
Join us as we share the love of Jesus through the P.E.A.C.E. Plan by preparing a holiday meal and spending the afternoon with the residents.

Thanksgiving Outreach Results
Wow! The Destiny congregation showed up and showed out this year for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Thanks to your generous giving, we were able to provide complete food boxes for over 65 needy families in our community. Many of these families were from Brumby Elementary School and they were very grateful for the support. In addition, we also were able to donate 109 turkeys to the Atlanta Union Mission and create a Food Pantry at Madison Hills Apts. with over 300 can goods.
Thank you Destiny Family for being PEACE in Action! May God continue to bless you and your families during the holiday season!
Thanksgiving Outreach
This year there are many families that need help to provide a Thanksgiving meal for their families. The Destiny Mission Team is partnering with the Men's Ministry to assist these families. We will be holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive for turkeys and all the trimmings, then organize the donations into food baskets that will be distributed to Destiny families as well as families in need at Brumby Elementary School.
We need everyone to support this effort by donating a frozen turkey along with 2 side items. You can also volunteer to help with the collections and preparing the baskets.
Food items needed:
Frozen Turkeys
Rice
Stuffing
Canned vegetables
Canned gravy
Cranberry dressing
Soft Drinks
Desserts (non-perishable)

Brumby Landscape Clean Up
On Saturday, Nov. 22, Destiny’s high school youth group will be doing cleanup for the Brumby grounds. They will be raking, pulling weeds, blowing off sidewalks, and whatever else needs to be done in order to make the Brumby grounds look even more beautiful for the holiday season. We could use teenagers as well as adults who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get dirty!

S.T.O.M.P. does Christmas
The Men's Ministry, in partnership with the Missions Team, is leading a church- wide initiative to deliver the essence of Christmas to children at Destiny. The goal is to raise $5000 that will be used to provide Christmas gifts for 100 Destiny children and families in need.
The Men of Destiny and members are encouraged to give $20 during "The Greatest Gift" campaign. You can make your donation at the S.T.O.M.P. table in the foyer anytime during Sunday services from Nov. 2 - Dec. 14
A small donation will make a big difference when we partner together to bless those in need at Destiny this Christmas!

Christmas Outreach - Book and Video Drive for Madison Hills Apartments
The Madison Hills Apartments is preparing to open a new Activities Center where they will hold their After School Program and other activities for the residents. As part of the Brumby Collaborative and the PEACE Plan, we are conducting a Children's Book and Video collection drive to help stock the library for the new center.
We need your gently used children's books and videos, which we will present to the staff at Madison Hills for Christmas. This is a great opportunity to share the books and videos that your children once enjoyed, but no longer use, with other kids!

Branson Homes Bible Study
The Senior Outreach Team has begun the second six week Bible Study series at Branson Homes, a Senior Apartment Community in Marietta. God has really been moving in this community and we now have 12 enthusiastic residents who attend the bi-weekly studies!
This is a great opportunity for Small Groups to serve together as we guide the residents through 40 Days of Community and help them design their own P.E.A.C.E. opportunity.

P.E.A.C.E. In Apartment Communities
As part of the Brumby Collaborative, the P.E.A.C.E. Team is developing plans to start P.E.A.C.E programs at Madison Hills Apartments and the surrounding communities, but we can't do it alone. We need Small Groups to help drive the vehicle of P.E.A.C.E.!
