Thanksgiving Outreach

This year there are many families that need help to provide a Thanksgiving meal for their families. The Destiny Mission Team is partnering with the Men's Ministry to assist these families. We will be holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive for turkeys and all the trimmings, then organize the donations into food baskets that will be distributed to Destiny families as well as families in need at Brumby Elementary School.

We need everyone to support this effort by donating a frozen turkey along with 2 side items. You can also volunteer to help with the collections and preparing the baskets.

Food items needed:

Frozen Turkeys

Rice

Stuffing

Canned vegetables

Canned gravy

Cranberry dressing

Soft Drinks

Desserts (non-perishable)

What: Thanksgiving Food Drive

When: Sunday, Nov. 23

Collection Times: Before and after all four services

Food Basket Distribution: 4:00 - 6:00pm

Brumby Landscape Clean Up

On Saturday, Nov. 22, Destiny’s high school youth group will be doing cleanup for the Brumby grounds.  They will be raking, pulling weeds, blowing off sidewalks, and whatever else needs to be done in order to make the Brumby grounds look even more beautiful for the holiday season.  We could use teenagers as well as adults who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get dirty!

S.T.O.M.P. does Christmas

The Men's Ministry, in partnership with the Missions Team, is leading a church- wide initiative to deliver the essence of Christmas to children at Destiny. The goal is to raise $5000 that will be used to provide Christmas gifts for 100 Destiny children and families in need.

The Men of Destiny and members are encouraged to give $20 during "The Greatest Gift" campaign. You can make your donation at the S.T.O.M.P. table in the foyer anytime during Sunday services from Nov. 2 - Dec. 14

A small donation will make a big difference when we partner together to bless those in need at Destiny this Christmas!
